Airshift privacy policy

Airshift is made by Johann Flores (dgtol.co). Contact: dgtol@me.com

The short version

Airshift has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and I run no servers. What you put on

your station is public, because a radio station is. Nothing is sold or used to track you.

What Airshift stores, and where

Airshift stores its data in Apple's CloudKit, in a public database that belongs to the app.

Apple hosts it. Your identity there is your iCloud account; Airshift never sees your Apple

ID, email address or name unless you type them in yourself.

Visible to anyone using Airshift:

are counted but not named

Stored only on your phone: handles you have blocked, stations you tuned in to recently, and

whether you have bought the upgrade.

Music

Airshift never sends, records or stores music. Each song plays on your phone through your

own Apple Music subscription. Apple's privacy policy covers what Apple Music does with your

listening.

The microphone

Used only when you press record to make a voice clip for your station. Clips are uploaded to

your station and are public. Delete a clip and it is removed from CloudKit.

Reports and blocking

If you report a station or clip, the report (what you reported, why, and your handle) is

stored so I can review it. Blocking happens on your phone and is not shared.

Deleting your data

Delete your station and profile in Settings and the records are removed from CloudKit.

You can also email me and I will remove them.

Children

Airshift is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
